Refunds & Returns Policy

At Pro Golf Shafts, we take pride in supplying premium golf shaft components. Please review the policy below carefully before placing your order, as it outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.


1. Returns Window

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

All return requests must be submitted in writing by replying to your order confirmation email or by contacting us with your order number within this period. Return requests made outside of the 14-day window will not be accepted.


2. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The item is unused
  • The shaft is uncut, uninstalled, and untipped
  • The item is returned in exactly the same condition as supplied
  • Original packaging, labels, and display stickers are intact

Any shaft that has been cut, installed, test-fitted, tipped, or otherwise altered will be deemed used and is not eligible for return.

Returned items are inspected upon receipt. Items that do not meet the above criteria will be rejected and returned to the customer at their expense.


3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom-built or modified shafts, including any shaft cut, tipped, or prepared to customer specifications
  • Used shafts
  • Items damaged due to incorrect installation, handling, or misuse

This does not affect your statutory rights in the event that an item is faulty.


4. Exchanges

Exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to stock availability. All exchange requests must comply fully with the return eligibility conditions outlined above.


5. Return Shipping & Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.
  • Original delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • If an order qualified for free delivery, a £5 shipping charge will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Returned items must be sent using a tracked and insured service. We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.

6. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you believe an item is faulty or has been supplied incorrectly, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide clear photographs and a description of the issue. Once assessed, and if a fault or error is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights and reimburse reasonable return postage where applicable.

Damage caused during installation or use is not considered a manufacturing fault.


7. Refunds

Once an approved return has been received and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days of acceptance
  • You will be notified once the refund has been completed

8. Warranty & Liability

Shafts are supplied with adapter installed and checked prior to dispatch.

Correct fitting of the clubhead requires the use of a calibrated torque wrench and adherence to recommended torque settings.

In the event of a fault with the shaft or adapter assembly, our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the shaft and adapter only.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage to clubheads or other equipment arising from incorrect torque application, cross-threading, or subsequent use.

All custom-built shafts are covered by a 30-day workmanship warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty applies strictly to faults directly resulting from the assembly process carried out by us.

After 30 days, any claim relating to the shaft material or structure will be handled solely in accordance with the original manufacturer’s warranty terms and procedures.

The following are not covered:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse or negligence
  • Cosmetic wear or bag chatter
  • Shafts that have been tipped, altered, pulled or reinstalled after delivery
  • Damage resulting from excessive swing speed, aggressive transition or improper use of the wrong shaft flex
  • Any consequential loss, labour costs or third-party fitting costs

All claims must be returned for inspection before any remedy is offered.
We reserve the right to refuse claims where evidence of misuse or external damage is present.
